after we got the /u1/sms/nfs directory properly filled in the final hurdle
was the mkcred program. Here's a bugfix that should probably go into
the MIT sources. I had to add an explicit exit(0) at the end of
the main loop of mkcred - as it was apparently exiting with random
status on Suns.
