I don't know why ez died during your scrolling.
I can say that it's probably not due to any intrinsic inferiority of RT's.
Andrew (and by extension ez) was developed on RT's. We encountered a
period of more trouble from Andrew on VAX rather than RT platforms for a
while. Nowadays they're pretty much equally robust (or not) on both.
I am sorry you were inconvenienced by ez crashing on you.
Unfortunately, unless you tell me what I can do to reproduce the same
behavior, I have no chance of fixing it.
What file were you editing?
Can you, yourself repeat the failure?
