What were you trying to do?
Run matlab.
What's wrong:
After a variable number of plots the workstation freezes (no response
to mouse or keyboard input) and then recycles to the login window
after a minute or two. This only seems to happen on color VAX
stations. It even happens when I am running remotely on a Sun down
at Woods Hole and using the Athena station for color display (the
Athena station freezes, the Sun is fine). It does not happen on
B&W terminals using the same programs. It happens to other people
in this cluster when running matlab.
What should have happened:
The workstation should not have frozen.

I reported this to olc last fall, and they forwarded the information
to you at that time.
