What were you trying to do?
Write some files onto a PC format disk from my RT.
What's wrong:
The write failed because of apparent hardware problems
(based on syslog messages).
After several minutes, I removed the disk from the drive
even though the light was on. The write aborted a few
seconds later accompanied by more syslog messages.
doswrite exited with exit status 0 and printed no error
messages.
What should have happened:
It is not a bug that the write failed, but at least
doswrite should have printed an error message. I don't
know whether this is doswrite's fault or the kernel's.
