And to make your lives somewhat more complicated, the server should
also DTRT on the 16 inch head.

I don't believe that is possible - the heads are electrically
identical (and the 19" display is still called an apa16 by the
kernel.) It should however reflect correctly the entire installed base
of our hardware (I believe that only a handful of 16" monitors exist,
at Athena, anymore...)
