What were you trying to do?
convert a bitmap from xwd format to pbm format.
What's wrong:
when I run it, I get:
[{1}quicksilver:~/lib/X11/bitmaps]
% /mit/graphics/$bindir/xwdtopbm < ~/in.xwd
/mit/graphics/decmipsbin/xwdtopbm: pnmobsolete: not found
[This is probably because I don't have graphics in my $PATH]
What should have happened:
It should work.
