What were you trying to do?
kill an xterm using the left box menu (mwm) on the window bar
What's wrong:
another window usually pops up saying
that the process may not die gracefully, and asks if I want it
dead anyway... like on other workstations.
however, on the dec3100's no cursor comes up with this window, making
it very difficult to get the mouse to move the cursor into the window
so I can click my choice. (that is, the big round cursor with the white
stripe doesn't show up. the arrow does appear once I manage to get the
cursor in the window. not an easy task, I assure you.)
What should have happened:
the big round cursor should have appeared
