When I logged in this evening over a dialup, my .login starts /usr/etc/zwgc
in the background, as I was instructed to do. I get the following message:
zwgc:draw: There is no X display available, so zwgc cannot run.
THIS MEANS THAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY ZEPHYR MESSAGES.
If you wish to receive Zephyr messages, you should start zwgc
with the -ttymode option. Read the zwgc(1) manual page for details.
Not very friendly. It also seems to me that if it can figure this out, it
can switch to "ttymode" automatically....
