What's wrong:
All three of my xterms have the following status (from xwininfo):
xwininfo ==> Window id: 0x180000d (Large)

When I logged in, vtwm.gamma didn't start, apparently it dumped core.
I don't know what this might have done to the xterms. config_console
didn't seem to run, either. Scratch that. I show_console'd it, and
it hung around for minutes, until I scrolled around. After touching
it, the timer seemed to be reset, because it disappeared 5 seconds
later, as per my resources. This message is in my console:
console: unexpected error from select: 22
22 is EINVAL.
Now, when I do show_console, vtwm asks me to place a window. Nothing
goes where I click, but the console shows up in the upper-right
corner, where it belongs. For no apparent reason, after a few
iterations, this behavior is now gone. show_console now works fine.
What should have happened:
None of the above. Athena should replace all vs2000's with
vs3100's so this kind of thing doesn't happen.
But hey, at least sendbug is working :-)
