What were you trying to do?
	mkserv remote

What's wrong:
mkserv remote should not make everything unswitched, or should
at least warn that this is being done. I did not expect this to be the
case. I thought that mkserv remote would perform the necessary changes
to allow people to login remotely when the machine was not in use, but
leave the access control system in place.

I RTFM'ed, the man page stated:
remote Configure the workstation such that remote login
         access is possible.

There's a difference between 'possible' webster definition 1a
'being within the limits of ability, capacity, or realization' and 2
'being something that may or may not occur'.
The writer seemed to have meant 'possible' in the sense of "imbue
with the permanent capability", while I took it to mean "create the option".

What should have happened:
mkserv remote should leave the switched status of things alone,
or at least print out in large letters "MAKING EVERYTHING UNSWITCHED".
The man page should be clearer about it.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
	mkserv(8)
