What were you trying to do?
I am trying to shutdown the X window manager using the menu option.
What's wrong:
Quite often I will get the login: prompt, and immediately, the X windows
login session will restart.
What should have happened:
Obviously, I should have been able to do a terminal style login.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
This has happened numerous times on different Vax 2000. I am currently on:
M66-080-12.MIT.EDU and it happened on this machine.
