What were you trying to do?

Check if another user had mail.

What's wrong:

Perhaps I don't understand how msgchk is supposed to work, but it
doesn't seem to work.

<steve-dallas> ~% tktsw rls
MIT Project Athena (steve-dallas)
Kerberos Initialization for "rls"
Password:
<steve-dallas> ~% msgchk -user rls
rls doesn't have any mail waiting on ATHENA-PO-2.MIT.EDU
<steve-dallas> ~%

When rls actually logged in, though, it turned out she had 10 pieces
of mail (so it is unlikely that they arrived in the short intervening
time).

What should have happened:

It should either have said "you don't have permission" (if that's the
case, which I doubt since I had her tickets) or given me a correct
answer. Saying "rls doesn't have any mail" is clearly a lie in this
case.

(Hmmm.. now that I check, rls's pobox info points to ATHENA-PO-1.
Again, perhaps I just misunderstand msgchk, but I would expect the
-user argument to use the right hesiod information (my pobox is on
po-2).)
