System name: M1-142-13
Type and version:	VAXSTAR 7.2R
Display type: SM

What were you trying to do?
To print only selected pages of my postscript document using
 the psrev command.

What's wrong:
It consistently deleted the .PS file, after printing the few pages
I selected though. The command I was using was:

% psrev -r -s 1-4 filename.PS | lpr -Pprinter

I realize that it should have been -R instead of -r. However,
why didn't i get any error message, and why did it erase the .PS file?

What should have happened:
You should know what option the -r offers

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
not relevant. the -r was an error on my part. However, it
REMOVED a file from my directory without any warning. The consultant
who helped me suggested I drop you a note.
