What were you trying to do?
EZ a file in a directory to which I didn't have read or write
access. I had execute access, and read access to the file. (The user
had used "make_readable" out of the consult locker on the file, so that
I could view it.) I was in the directory in which the ez file was, at
the time I tried to access it. (I was success at "more"ing the file,
and at using emacs on it, although emacs told me I didn't have write
access.)
What's wrong:
ez Buffer: Startup-Errors
EZ Multi-Media Editor
Errors encountered during startup:
File 'project1_plan.save.ez' not found; could not create. No
such file or directory.
What should have happened:
It should have given me the correct error message, which is that
I didn't have write access to the file. It should have let me run EZ on
it, so i could view it, but just not let me write the file out.
