What were you trying to do?
read mail.
What's wrong:
My tickets had expired. The old pop servers gave emacs/movemail
an error like -ERR: tickets expired.
The new servers give "movemail: connection closed" and beep the terminal.
What should have happened:
I should have gotten a reasonable error message.
