It sounds to me like your "context" file somehow got corrupted;
either that, or your .xmhcache files. If this happens again, type:
delete ~/Mail/context
delete ~/Mail/*/.xmhcache
and try again.
Note that you would have gotten a quicker response to your mail if
you'd asked about your problem in olc before reporting it to bugs.
It's usually a good idea to do that in all cases, because our
consultants are often familiar with bugs in the software and with
what's necessary to get around them.

Xmh window vanishes when compose, reply or forward buttons are selected;
Segmentation violationxmh appears in xterm window when xmh is restarted.
What should have happened:
A draft window should have appeared when any of the above buttons were selected.
