core.root file found on a machine

A friend of mine logged into m4-035-16 and was unable to get kerberos
tickets because /site was full. It turned out that there was a file by
the name of core.root in /usr/tmp which was 3.5+ Meg. I've moved the file
to the coredumps locker and have named it core.root_m4-035-16.
I figure that this is what one does with coredumps.
