System name: m16-034-10
Type and version:	RTPC-ROMPC 7.2P
Display type: apa16

What were you trying to do?
	login on the (text) console

What's wrong:
It didn't let me. I pressed ^P, and saw a "login:" prompt.
I typed my username and password. I waited about 2 or 3
minutes. Then I saw error messages from attach trying to
detach /srvd and /mit/jfc (both were busy because my login
shell was using them). A few seconds later, the X server
and xlogin started again. I pressed ^P again and typed my
username and password. This time, I saw an error message
from xset ("unable to open display :0"), but was able to login.

What should have happened:
The system should have let me login the first time, and not
hung for 2 minutes before doing anything. If necessary for
predictable behavior, the system should have forced me to wait
until reactivation was finished before logging in.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
	dm(8)
reactivate(8) [this man page does not exist, but if it did it
	would be relevant]
	xlogin(8)
	wait(2)
