What were you trying to do?
Start up matlab. I was using an emacs shell and typed:
% add matlab
% matlab &
What's wrong:
It started up the matlab inside the emacs shell.
What should have happened:
I expected it to start up another xterm window for the matlab
program.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
From olh:
EACH time you use MATLAB do the following
athena% cd ~/matlab
athena% add matlab
athena% matlab
A new xterm will pop up.....
No need to reply back to me. I know the cause
(/mit/matlab/lib/matlab.csh) and I've seen discussion of this problem
already. I just thought I'd report another instance of where this bug
can bite.
