This message can be safely ignored.
It comes up because gcc is configured to claim that it is version 2.1
of the MIPS compiler (it has to claim some number, and 2.1 is the
latest the MIPS gcc maintainers have), but Athena's default linker is
still version 1.31, even though we do have 2.1 available.
In the future, please send any bug reports about gcc to "gnu" rather
than "bugs".
