What were you trying to do?
expunge the deleted files in a directory
What's wrong:
after typing "expunge ." there were still two .#* files in the
directory. (there were ~ 30 originally.) As far as I could tell,
there was nothing special about them. "expunge ." again made them go away.
What should have happened:
expunge should have worked right the first time.
If you can figure out a way to duplicate this, I'll see what I can do
about it. I can't figure out what might have caused it, so my best
guess is that you modified the directory while discuss was working on
it, something which could quite possibly cause what you describe.
For now, since we have no way to duplicate the problem, I'm going to
have to mark the bug report resolved.
