I have this line in my .startup.X file:
/afs/athena/contrib/watchmaker/@sys/xconsole -u 10
When I login on the test-3100 machine, I get this error message:
15:19 xunmap: Cannot find console window.
The 'xconsole' program in the watchmaker locker is a derivative a
program I wrote several months ago. It is not part of the Athena
release (that's why it's in the watchmaker locker) and is not
supported by Athena. If it fails with a new release, oh well.
As it turns out, the 7.2 console program has the auto-hiding
functionality that xconsole was written to provide..
