Ok, so courseware should use xset fp- instead of xset fp default. But
xset fp default isn't totally useless, so it should be fixed. Say I'm
messing with my font path manually and blow it away. I should be
able to undo my mistake with xset fp default.
I agree, but I don't know if we're going to be able to fix this before
the release. Xlogin is based on the ability to start up the X server
with a different default font path. Perhaps instead of doing that, we
should be starting it up with a correct font path, and changing the
path inside xlogin. I'll talk to mar about it, but like I said, I
don't know if we'll be able to get the changes into the release.
