What were you trying to do?
Log in as jiktest with a temporary homedir (by editing
named.local to set my filsys to something that doesn't exist).
What's wrong:
The error box that pops up says that any mail I incorporate
will be lost when I log out.
What should have happened:
If we've modified the default temporary homedir dotfiles so
that they do inc -notruncate, this warning is no longer
correct and should be removed or modified.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:

The warning is still partially correct. Rmail users or those deciding
to use rmail, or something else, will still lose. Thus, the choice of a
new message can't simply omit the statement of possible mail loss. We
should check into modifying "movemail" to support temporary retrieval
from the PO servers and have a .emacs in the prototype_tmpuser
directory, but this was not easily done in time for the 7.2 release.
