***What's wrong:
my dot files try to write to ~jtkohl, and failed. It seems that
I'm not getting tokens.
this happened twice in a row (two successive login attempts).
The first attempt was my first login today (I logged in from home last
night, but presumably the reactivate sequence should have cleaned things
up since then)
I then logged in as root, verified that nothing was attached
except for the system packs, and then tried again as me. It failed
again.
/mit/jtkohl was still there (a symlink from last night at 9:25,
when I last logged in), and didn't get cleaned up by detach/reactivate.
***What should have happened:
I should have been able to write to ~jtkohl.
if this ain't fixed, I will yell and scream loudly to squash the
staff test.
