Did you recompile xman yourself with optimization to verify the
problem? Or could it have been due to the bad header file rel-eng
built X with?
If you've verified it yourself, please give me a preprocessed version
of the ScrollByL source file, and as detailed a description of the
problem as you know (if anything more than "it crashes"). A stack
trace and register dump from some version with a symbol table would be
helpful.
