What were you trying to do?
My .startup.X file includes:
/afs/athena.mit.edu/user/b/bjaspan/src/xunmap/xunmap.${hosttype} -u 10 &
What's wrong:
to which the console replied:
21:51 xunmap: Cannot find console window.
What should have happened:
the console window should disappear after displaying for 10 seconds,
so I don't have to keep Hiding it...
