So install -D -c -m 555 foo /usr/athena/foo will create /usr/athena if necessary. This will make exporting software (if we export our install, which I think we should) much easier, removing some really ugly kludges from some install scripts and Makefiles. If you're changing install, you should consider making this change at the same time. Marc
