Ez *does* save checkpoint files occasionally in the /usr/tmp
directory on the workstation. If you check there, you may find a
recent copy of your file.
Please use olc if you need help with doing this. In the future, it
might help for you to use olc to get help before sending messages to
bugs using sendbug.
