The bug report you submitted earlier tonight does not sound like a
bug in the Athena system, it sounds like something in particular was
going wrong with the login session from which you submitted that bug
report.
A better way to get help in situations like that is to use "olc",
rather than sending a bug report using "sendbug". I suggest that in
the future, if something like that happens to you, attempt to track
down the problem by asking about it in olc, and report it as a bug
only if the consultants who help you conclude that it is one.
