Two comments:
1. The problem is only evident on the Vax, so you might want to try
running xmath on an RT. It may be a problem with the Vax math
libraries, although a simple check of them didn't turn up anything
wrong.
2. Athena is currently not supporting xmath -- we are trying to
support more powerful vendor-supplied software -- so it is doubtful
that this bug will be fixed.
