widget vt100 is given a class name VT100. nice
widget tek4014 is given a class name Tek4014. also nice
widget menu is given no class name. not nice
widget "Athena Scrollbar" is not even given a widget name!
where are the rules for Xresource files given? that a user can read
them -- not "use the force, read the source". they should be directed
to these, since .Xdefaults don't do what is expected anymore. they
should not have to search. they will not know what to call these
things, so they'll need a pointer. sounds like an item for the
newsletter.
