What were you trying to do?
Spell-check and print in ez.
What's wrong:
(1) when I initiated spell-check, ez died on me after highlighting the
first word (my name, which is "mispelled" according to the dictionary)
and putting some prompt like "Starting spellcheck" on the status line.
It wouldn't do anything at all. The rest of the system was alive, and
the cursor changed shapes appropriately, but the scrollbars wouldn't
work and the insertion point wouldn't move and ez wouldn't respond at
all. I tried Ctrl-Q as someone suggested but nothing happened. I
then called software hotline and they suggested that the best thing to
do was kill the process PID (runapp), which I did. I tried the exact
same sequence again (load file, start spell-check) with the exact same
problem.
(2) Later, I tried twice to just load the file and print it without
attempting to spell-check the file. All I am getting is a blank sheet
of paper being printed out.
(3) Just tried using ezprint from the command line, and here's what happens:
> -----> [/mit/pshuang] [11:38am] athena% ezprint Au.Foundation.letter.ez
> Starting ezprint (Version 7.0, ATK 15.0); please wait...
> Segmentation violation
What should have happened:
