An olc user (who was, at the time, logged into M11-116-7) reports:
Whenever I use eos, the file I turnin completely disappears from my
directory. Am I doing something wrong? Or do I really have to make copies
of all my files before sending them to be graded?
I get an eos window by typing 'eos' from my main window.
Then within eos I choose turn-in, type the course number and get the turn-in
window. Since I don't type my files into the eos editor, I toggle the
turn-in "switch" to 'named file' and type the name of my file where it
normally says 'scratch.'
When I press 'OK' the window disappears and tells me the file is turned in.
It does get sent to the TA, but I have no original copy after this happens.
Any suggestions?
Please send any responses or requests for further information to "mahansen", who
reported the problem. If the user has misunderstood how to use eos, please
cc the response to me so that I can inform the consultants.
Thanks.
