"login" doesn't work for tty sessions

   I wish that "login" worked in the correct Un*x fashion on a tty session (I
   can understand why this would not be desirable on an X session).

This isn't going to happen; our login program does too many special
things which would be quite messed up by doing what you suggest it
should be able to do.

The easiest way to log into your workstation as someone else is to
"access_on" and then do "telnet localhost", and then "access_off"
after the connection is established.
