What were you trying to do?
get dxpsview to start with landscape format
What's wrong:
i cannot get it to recognize the resources which are specified in the
application defaults file.
a: the size is 200 pixels smaller than specified in each direction.
b: the orientation does not properly reflect the resource values specifed for the buttons.
What should have happened:
my .Xresources file contains:
PSViewer*geometry: 840x700+0+0
PSViewer*90degrees.value: True
PSViewer*0degrees.value: False
the window appears as 640x500.
both the 90 and the 0 degree buttons are true (that is the case independent of
the order of resource specifications).
if i trun the 0 degree button of in the menu, nothing happens (even after selecting
"next/previous page" until i go through the oriention setting cycle a second time.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
is there a better way to do this?
the man page makes no mention of it.
i extracted the resource names from /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/PSViewer .
