Over the past month, I have run into a problem with the software on
the VS3100's.

Frequently on login, the load on the computer does not go to zero as it should.
Instead, there are some residue processes left over from the previous sessions.

I called olc about this, and they checked to make sure that no one
else was using the computer at the same time.

They also told me about `su' so I could kill the extra processes.

The processes that I have killed include:
emacs
xmajhongg
xtank

Those are all I can remember.

This has happended to other users. It started before the new release (7.1).
I do not know what is happening, but I think that the problem deserves
attention because they extra processes frequently use more that 50%
of the CPU.
