Hi! Here's some mail I just got from a new user. He didn't get any
dotfiles when his account was created. (He created it the "normal"
way, clicking on the register button on a workstation.) This is the
second problem with dotfiles that I've seen; the user "sao" had his
directory created with no dotfiles as well.

Carla,
I did not get any . files when I got my user account. I get a % for a prompt.
Is there something I should do to get this changes? I got some files from John
Doherty but something is still wrong, I think.
