I understand from Lucien that this is a feature rather than a bug,
but for my use of cut and paste, it is functionally a bug:
I often receive e-mail from which I want to cut and paste -- to paste
a piece of the mail I received into a report, or pipe it to the printer.
Under 7.1, the text is not pasted correctly, as line breaks aren't
recognized. For example,
E-MAIL TEXT:
These should come to you for review through Gary, but I wanted to make sure you
saw them...
PASTED TEXT:
These should come to you for review through Gary, but I wanted to make sure yous
aw them...
WHAT I WANT:
These should come to you for review through Gary, but I wanted to make sure yousaw them...
Xterm cut and paste without line fill should at least be available!
