I tried re-installing my pvax the other night.

After we finally got a mop server running, etftp started easily.
But there was no bootp server available.

I explicitly told it to use prometheus for tftp service, and use the
vax install image from the bootkit file system. The configuration
file in this image pointed to 6.4 packs that no longer exist.

We found a 6.3B RVD pack in building 66, and finished the install.
I couldn't attach the 7.1 packs, because the Hesiod information for
them is incompatible with the old version of attach, which didn't
understand "n" in the "r"/"w" field.

I explicitly created the links according to the hesiod information,
and discovered that the @sys component was required to expand to
"vax_bsd43"; under 6.4 it was "vax_43" or some such, but there was no
   such entry in the directory.

Can someone _please_ update this install stuff to 7.0 or 7.1, and fix
   some of these other problems?

Actually, you should have been able to install off of 7.0... in which
case, none of these problems would have occurred... 6.3 has been
de-supported officially, already, so I am not too concerned about the
incompatibilities.

The only platform which has problems with installing off 7.0 from a 6.4
media is the RT... and that platform has a working etftp that can load
large boot images so a 7.0 boot image can be created (I do not know
where it exists, but I believe it has been built).
