i accidentally iconified a (running) ``pick'' window,
which is to say that i wanted to submerge the window
and must have left my finger on the button too long.
i then deiconified the window, but, instead, all of
xmh, parent window and pick window both, unmapped. the
xmh continued to consume cycles, but, presumably when
the pick finished, printed only this:
[6] xmh
on my login window, and exited. no coredump was found.
reentering xmh, i find the folder in question forced a
rescan at open time. when that completed, a ``temp''
sequence, containing the results of the pick mentioned
above, was found.
