What were you trying to do?
	Edit portions of a large file using sed. The file
contained many 2250 character long lines of hexadecimal data.
I was trying to edit a header and trailer around this data.

What's wrong:
	The final file should have been just over 13 Megabytes in size.
It came out almost exactly 12 megabytes in size. The hex data was
corrupted. Although to be fair, the edits did succeed :-).

What should have happened:
	From the numbers, I'd guess I ran afoul of a 2048 limit.  It
would be best if lines of arbitrary size were acceptable. But if the
lines were too long, sed should have warned me. At the very least, any
limits on the length of a line should have been documented.
