What were you trying to do?
Display a 44M sequence of images. The images were being
cached into pixmaps via XPutImage.
What's wrong:
The X server goes into a 15-minute death spiral, and then
dumps core.
What should have happened:
The X server should have displayed my image sequence,
smiling cheerfully all the while.

The 11th commandment of X servers:
"Thou shalt not dump core"
