What were you trying to do?
Trying to download a file from my account using
kermit -s stage1b.dat
I also tried:
kermit -p o -s stage1b.dat
kermit -p e -s stage1b.dat
What's wrong:
The file transfer doesn't happen. A few bad packets
get exchanged.
What should have happened:
I should have downloaded my file.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I am using MSKERMIT v 3.0 on a IBM PC compatible.
It worked before the change to Athena 7.0 I believe and
works on other UNIX systems I have accounts on.
I can't upload either.
It does work when I go through the MIT phone system,
but when I dialup from home there seems to be
a failure to communicate.
I have the same problem with my Amiga kermit.
