There is no bug here.
I disagree. You're claiming that the outcome isn't incorrect because
of the way it was implemented.
If "add" is supposed to be this bit of magic that gets the appropriate
binaries executable from the command line, an extra "rehash" shouldn't
be needed. Is there some reason an "else rehash" (or whatever)
couldn't be added in the appropriate place? It would seem to me that
that would make it do the Right Thing.
