We should install this patch, but I do not expect it to fix the "94" bug.
Without the patch, the kernel would panic with a machine check, or print
"machine check in user mode".

What this patch does is avoid a panic if the machine check bit is set in the
machine check status/program check status register (this bit is actually set
by software during trap handling), but no other bit is set to indicate the
type of trap.
