The long message I sent to bugs and hotline a few hours ago you can
ignore (for now). I was able to reproduce the error by logging in on
the server and trying to dd the file into /dev/null. The machine
crashed, just as before. I'm pursuing this to see if it's a hard
error on the disk, or what. All I'm sure of now is that it's not an
nfs error.
