What were you trying to do?
Type a file and then choose the name later.
What's wrong:
I started up EZ by typing
ez
at my unix prompt. At the top it said "No files specified."
From then on, the "No files specified" blinked with every letter I typed
in. And then, I typed
C-X C-S
to save the file. And it wrote the file to "/mit/kevles/scratch"!
What should have happened:
It should not have blinked the "no files specified" every time I
typed a letter. One notification is enough, isn't it?
It should not have written my file unless I specified a name -
certainly not to my home directory! It would be better if it prompted
me for a filename.
