What were you trying to do?
Type into the console window after having exited an X windows
session started with xinit. The keys all come out as control
characters, until ^C is input, at which time it reverts to normal
characters.
The startup command was:
/afs/rel-eng.mit.edu/project/x11r4/vaxbin/xinit -- /afs/rel-eng.mit.edu/project/x11r4/vaxbin/Xqvss v -s 360 -logo
What's wrong:
It shouldn't make keyboard input into control characters.
What should have happened:
Normal input.
