"rn" works fine from my workstation running 7.0 and works fine from
the "old" dialup machines. I get the following error when running it
on the "7.0" dialup machine. I'll try attaching the SIPB locker but I
thought we could use AFS now.
Perhaps it works fine on your workstation and on the old dialup
machines because they have sipb attached, and it doesn't work on the
new dialup machine because it doesn't?
As I said in my previous message, you need to have the sipb locker
attached. Believe me, I know, I'm the one who maintains rrn. If you
don't want to have to attach sipb, then make /usr/sipb on your
workstation a symbolic link to /afs/athena.mit.edu/contrib/sipb.
Please do not send any more mail about this to "bugs". It is not an
Athena bug.
